In a quantum regime, light is a stream of photons and these photons can show different behaviors compared to classical electromagnetic waves. They show non-classical photon statistics, quantum interference, and quantum entanglement. These quantum photons are essential building blocks for quantum communication and quantum computers. We are interested in finding and characterization of new quantum light sources.
